Graphic designer, author, photographer, and entrepreneur Jordan Shay sat with our editors at The Designer Digest to discuss his life's work and highlight the projects he's worked on in this exclusive "Portfolio Issue" of our paper. Here's what he had to say...
"I'm Jordan, a young and enthusiastic self-taught graphic designer based in the United States. I specialize in crafting unique branding and logo designs and actively exploring the realms of web design and other fields in graphic design. My current aspiration is to acquire freelance work opportunities and continuously improve my problem-solving abilities to create meaningful work for anyone who perceives it."

We asked him about tons of his projects and wanted to highlight his work in this special edition of our paper, going beyond the surface and taking a dive into the deep end of his projects, works, and everything that he's done over the course of his career. "What are some of those projects?" you may ask, well, Jordan has worked for a vast array of clients involving himself in doing personal branding for online personalities, branding for communities both large and small, book and editorial design, advertising, web design, and so much more. He's also written a book for his 2024 graduation project about the beautiful intricacies in typograhy, how it's important, and what it means to him and the world.

"The Designer Digest" is an extention of my personal brand I'm using to tell my story, share resources, and my work. My entire brand is themed around newspapers, an extremely popular and early form of communication that used graphic design as a means to inform, entertain, advertise, and create positive experiences for the general public. All of which are things that I aspire to incorporate into my work in a way that's meaningful, creative, and artistic.
